Corona virus - our precautions

We would like to share some precautions we took for our future tours with you:

Cleanness / hygiene. We have face masks and disinfectants (for people and our car or minibus) available
Covid app (France): As your guide and driver I installed the Covid app on my phone.
Vaccinated: As your guide and driver I am officially vaccinated since half May 2021.
Transport: Apart from our car or minibus you can also drive yourself in your own (rental) car if wished so. Detailed maps and GPS coordinates for our stops are available.
Private tours: As we offer small private tours you can be confident that we can avoid crowded restaurants, tasting rooms,etc.
Hotels and restaurants: All hotels and restaurants must and will follow the rules. Still we can recommend places where they clean often and really give you space.
Social distancing: As we travel with small private groups it is easy for us to avoid crowded places when tasting wines, have lunch or dinner and also visiting places of intrest in cities and villages.
Cancellation policies. With all the uncertainties we keep on being very flexible with changes or cancellations. Postponing one of our tours booked via us or thru one of our partners can be done without any extra costs, even when you postpone into 2022 ! If necessary you can postpone your tour(s) more than once for free, because lockdowns and flight regulations can change.

Guide touristique

I am not a licensed museum guide. That means officially I cannot guide inside a museum.

In Alsace in for example the Haut Koenigsbourg castle are excellent audio guides available.

I can provide for a specialised guide for the castle if wished so.

Transport of passengers

I am fully licensed to drive up to 9 persons, including myself.

For bigger groups up to 50 + people, I can provide a bus plus a professional driver on demand.

Insurances

I have a professional liability insurance as guide touristique.

Guests touring with JoliSoleil are responsable for their own private expenses and insurances.

You visit castles, museums and wine caves at your own risk.

We urgently suggest taking a travel insurance which can refund lost properties and your touring expenses in case of not being able to tour at a last minute.

Bookings and payments

The (Rezgo) bookings via this site are secure and are handled via Stripe or PayPal. *)

TVA

Tour prices as stated on this website are including french taxes (TVA) : 10 % for transport hours and 20% for guiding services.

Cancellation policy for tours or tastings

> 7 days before start 100% refund °

< = 7 days before 25% costs - 75% refund °

< 3 days - 50 % refund °

< 1 days - no refund °
