Fermette La belle Bête Laveline du Houx (Gérardmer)
Situation
At about 15 kilometers of Gérardmer in the direction of Remiremont you can find the little village Laveline du Houx (88640). In the little village are only a few houses and farms. One of these little farms is called La belle Bête. Around the house is a garden. At the backside there is a lot of space. Through the garden runs a little stream of water which partially ends in a little pond. Children will love to play here.
Behind the house we installed a closet to store (wet) things like ski’s.
The farm has been completely renovated in 2004.
Inside the farm
At the inside you will find a kitchen with everything you need. Even a dishwasher is available. In the kitchen is also located a woodstove. The heat it generates can be used all over the house through little holes in the walls.
Apart from that all rooms are equipped with an electrical heating system.
In the dining room you will find a big wooden table with space for 8-10 people. You will love this central place in the house, also for playing board games or for reading your newspaper.On this floor you will find a toilet in the back.
At the other site of the room you will find the satellite tv, 4 chairs and a luxury canapé-lit. You will probably only use this as a bed when you are with more then 6-7 persons in the house.
On the first floor you will find the bathroom with the second toilet, a douche and bath and also the washing machine. At the vide you will find a romantic bed with two screens for privacy. In one of two separate sleeping rooms you will find a comfortable ‘farmers bed’. The other room is meant for children with 3 beds available.
All beds meant for adults are 2.00 * 1.60.
