Ferme Le grand Soleil - la Forge (<15 minutes de Gérardmer)
Situation
A little more than 10 km of Gerardmer in the direction of Remiremont (D417) immediately after the village Le Tholy lies la Forge and the community of Cleurie. In the hills that overlook this valley lies the 'farm Le grand Soleil'.
A few words to describe le grand Soleil are: relaxation, privacy and space. In the big garden around the house you always will be able to find some sun or shade, which ever you prefer. And great views of course.
Children can play safely without you having to worry about traffic.
For your daily errands you can go to Le Tholy. Gerardmer lies on less than 15 minutes drive form the farm.
In the winter the ski-pits of La Bresse and/or Gerardmer are so to speak around the corner.
In the summer time you can enjoy the area walking or go to the lakes of Xonrupt or Gerardmer for boating, surfing etc. If you like fishing you can eat you heart out in the area.

Plan of the house
The farm has a separate kitchen and a big living. The kitchen is equipped with a dish washer. The dining table sits (standard) 12 people. There is a separate lounge-room, in which you will find some chairs and a couch. From two sides you can sit around a big fire place.
You can stay here with up to 10 (+2) adults and 5 children. There are 6 bedrooms, two of them with a toilet and bathroom themselves. In one of the bedrooms you will find 4 (5) children's beds. The other rooms have 2 separate beds or 1 double bed. There is a third independent bathroom with separate toilet. In the 'grange' we have added another lit canapé.
All bedrooms have central heating.
Groups, enterprises, meetings
For example the management team of a company can have a meeting here. Catering can be arranged. The parking space can easily accommodate a number of cars.
A mini bus can be arranged to visit one of the nice restaurants in the area or for a day of wine-tasting in the Alsace.
By placing the dining tables in the grange 20 people can have a meeting and/or dinner.
For presentations equipment like a flip over and a beamer are at hand. A telephone line (Internet) is available.
In 2006 we can offer a stay over for 15 persons. In 2008 we will add an apartment which adds 6 more beds. The apartment has 2 bedrooms and a toilet and bathroom.
Apartment ‘Le petit Soleil’ – available 2008
In 2008 an extra completely independent apartment will be available. The apartment will have a sitting room, dining and kitchen and 3 bedrooms. And of course it's own bathroom and toilet. The apartment will have it's own entrance.
Together with Le grand Soleil (option A and B) we can accommodate 20 people. (8 bedrooms + grange)
The apartment will also be available separately for rent.
